Return Policy
Goods Exchange and Refund Policy:
If you wish to exchange goods or request a refund for items that do not meet your expectations, the following terms apply in accordance with statutory consumer protection laws of the Czech Republic.
Goods Exchange & Returns:
In accordance with Section 1829(1) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, you have the right as a consumer to withdraw from the purchase contract and exchange or return unsuitable item(s) within 14 days from the date of delivery (or receipt of the last part of a physical delivery).
To process a return or exchange:
- Please include the completed return form along with proof of purchase (invoice).
- In accordance with Section 1831(1) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., returned goods must be dispatched back to us without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the date of notifying us of your withdrawal.
Right of Withdrawal from the Contract:
In accordance with Section 1829 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period to withdraw from a distance purchase contract without stating any reason.
- Timeframe: The 14-day period begins on the day you (or a designated third party) take physical possession of the goods (Section 1829(1)(a) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll.).

Coll.Condition of Goods, Original Tags & Compensation:
In accordance with Section 1833 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code:
- Testing Goods: You are entitled to inspect and try on the goods to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning in the same manner as you would in a physical retail store.
- Original Tags: Original tags and labels must remain attached to the item during inspection. Removing tags goes beyond the scope of testing necessary to establish the nature and properties of the item.
- Diminished Value: You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and function. If tags have been removed, or if items show signs of wear, damage, or disassembly, The Kiraman reserves the statutory right under Section 1833 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll. to deduct an amount corresponding to the reduced commercial value (e.g., costs of re-tagging, re-sanitizing, or re-conditioning) from your total refund amount.
Refund Processing & Shipping Expenses:
1. Outbound Shipping Costs (Delivery to You)Pursuant to Section 1832(1) & (2) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., upon valid withdrawal, we will refund all payments received from you, including initial delivery costs up to the amount of the cheapest standard delivery method offered by us.
2. Return Shipping Costs (Return to Us):
- Standard Withdrawal: Pursuant to Section 1820(1)(g) and Section 1832(3) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods to us, including partial returns from multi-item orders.
- Defective or Incorrect Items: If the return is due to a product defect or warranty claim under Section 2099 et seq. and Section 2161 et seq. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., or an incorrect item sent by us, The Kiraman will reimburse all necessary costs incurred for the return upon presentation of proof of payment, pursuant to Section 1924 of Act No. 89/2012 Coll.
3. Refund Terms & Right of RetentionIn accordance with Section 1832(1) & (4) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll.:
- We will issue the refund no later than 14 days from receiving your notice of withdrawal.
- We reserve the statutory right to withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods back, or until you provide written proof that the goods have been dispatched back to us, whichever occurs first.
- Refunds will be processed using the same payment method originally used for the transaction unless explicitly agreed otherwise.
